Auxiliary

In 1926, the Horace J. Tanguay Auxiliary unit was chartered with 26 members. The current name of the unit, Tanguay-Magill Unit No. 80, was adopted after World War II. Today, the unit has over 196 members.

If you are related to a veteran who served on active duty during one of the membership eligibility dates and is a member of the American Legion, you are eligible to join the Auxiliary.

If the qualifying veteran is deceased, but was not a member of the American Legion while living, you are also eligible to join the Auxiliary
